Homemade Margherita Pizza Made Easy with the KILN Pizza Oven

Enjoy a delicious Margherita pizza at home with ease using the KILN oven. This simple recipe delivers restaurant-quality results, complete with step-by-step instructions and pro tips for the perfect pizza.
Ingredients::
- 200g fresh pizza dough
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (for dusting)
- 3 tbsp tomato pizza sauce
- 120g fresh torn mozzarella
- 3 fresh tomatoes, sliced
- 3 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp semolina flour (for dusting the pizza peel)
Instructions:
- Preheat your KILN oven for 10 minutes with the main burner on high.
- If using the KILN R Series, turn on the Boost Burner as well.
- Stretch the dough into a round shape, leaving a thicker border about 1.2 cm wide.
- Sprinkle semolina flour onto your pizza peel, then place the stretched dough on top (this helps it slide easily onto the stone).
- Spread the tomato sauce over the dough, leaving about 2 cm from the edge.
- Add torn mozzarella and then layer on the tomato slices.
- Top with fresh basil leaves.
- Turn the main burner to low heat and slide the pizza onto the baking stone.
- After about 2 minutes, turn the heat back up to high and cook for another 20 seconds.
- Remove with the peel and serve hot.
️ Note: If using the KILN R Series: Dont forget to turn off the rotating stone feature while placing and removing the pizza.
